Admiralty Island's old growth rain forest supports the world's densest population of brown bear! Our prime hunting areas include most of Admiralty Island and the Coastal Mountain Range.  being selective most of our Brown Bear taken square over nine feet.  Depending upon weather conditions and season, our overall success rate ranges from 80% to 100%.

Fall brown bear hunting is quite different than hunting in the spring.  Join me in stalking through the dense old growth forest and along streams choked with spawning Salmon to set up your evening ambush.  Experience the rising anticipation and sudden thrill when encountering big bruins up close.  A truly exciting hunt!

40% deposit confirms hunt.  10% will confirm hunt more than one year in advance.
Refunds made if cancellation is 120 days prior to your hunt or the hunt is rebooked at the full rate less a 10% cancellation fee.

Spring Brown Bear
This is the hunt if Brown Bear is your primary trophy.  2 hunters only.

Hunt 1 April 27 - May 8 (Leave Juneau by Boat Return by Plane)
Hunt 2 May 8 - May 19 (Leave Juneau by Plane Return by Boat)
Hunt 3 May 21 - June 1 (One hunter only)

Non-hunters $300 per day

Air Charter to and from Juneau on first and second spring hunt approximately $ 250

 

Fall Brown Bear
This is a truly exciting hunt.  Hunt the salmon streams and come into close quarters with your trophy.

Hunt 1 September 15 - September 26
Hunt 2 September 29 - October 10

Rate: 12 Days - $16,500

One hunter per trip (Unless otherwise specified)

Non-hunters $300 per day

Price includes pick-up from airport, plenty of good food and company, trophy care and preparations.  Also includes all fishing gear for salmon and halibut.
